Deadline for responses 30 June 2025 11:59pm

Deaf and disabled people’s hard-won rights are under threat. NUBSLI is urging as many people as possible to respond to the Pathways to Work Green Paper Consultation.

We recognise that government consultations can often feel inaccessible and overwhelming. To support you in responding, we’ve prepared helpful resources to guide you through the process. We’d like to publicly thank Rachael, Mariella and Andy from NUBSLI’s Access to Work Action Group who have worked tirelessly to produce the following two documents, and thanks to Darren Townsend-Handscomb for his input and for sharing DeafATW resources.

  • The ‘Cheat Sheet – A brief, bullet-pointed guide designed to encourage quick responses, and for you to add your own comments and insights.
  • The ‘Member Guidance – A more detailed resource for those who prefer to copy, adapt, or expand on suggested responses.

We encourage everyone to respond—and to share this with friends, family, and colleagues. If you can include your own experiences or evidence, or elaborate on the suggestions provided, we strongly encourage you to do so.
